Presented by Charlie Badenhop, the originator of Seishindo. Learn from the concepts of Aikido, NLP and Ericksonian Hypnosis. Seishindo.org - Accessing Your Body Intelligence as a Resource for Personal Transformation. Somatic Coaching, Consulting, and Workshops for Individuals and Organizations.
A website
Read Articles, do Seishindo Practices, read and subscribe to the "Pure Heart, Simple Mind" complimentary Newsletter. Charlie Badenhop and his colleagues welcome you to the Seishindo website. Seishindo draws from multiple disciplines: NLP, Ericksonian Psychology, Aikido, Self relations therapy, Sei Tai, and modern mind-body research. We strive to inspire and support human potential and well-being in individuals and organizations. Our site introduces you to a range of articles, poetry, music and book recommendations, Seishindo related theories, "practices", and subscription to our newsletter which we offer free of charge. Please also find out more about Seishindo Human Potential Workshops. In Seishindo we consider each person to have at least two minds or "selves" (a somatic self and a cognitive self), and two brains - the brain in our skull and the brain in our gut (the enteric nervous system). This means that at the very least, each person is bilingual, speaking their native verbal language, as well as somatic language. The ideal is to embed the experiences of the somatic and cognitive selves, one within the other, and in the process to create a new and different experience that includes and at the same time transcends both. ABOUT SEISHINDO PRACTICES: We need to fuel the fire of our life with oxygen, a balanced physical structure, and a calm compassionate awareness of our self and our surroundings. We will do well to dramatically slow down from time to time, so that we can enter into flow states that rejuvenate us, heal us, and give us the opportunity to experience our life from a heartfelt timeless perspective. With this purpose in mind we have designed a series of "Practices" to help you achieve a greater sense of health and well being in your life.
