The Alumbo! website is organized into several main sections, clearly laid out by graphical tabs along the top of each page. Simply click on a tab to go to that section.

Home is the site's welcome page. Everything begins from this page so when in doubt, return here. Site news, recent updates, upcoming changes and general site information are shown on the Home page.

The Directory is our full list of communities. Use this section to navigate our community tree, to locate topics of interest to you, and to understand how content is categorized on the site. Each community has its own page within the Directory. The page provides an overview of the community, shows you at a glance how many items have been added in the past week, and calls your attention to notable articles, products, services, resources and discussions from the community's other pages.

The Alumbo! Magazine includes feature articles, reviews, and commentary, as well as constantly-updated news items from external news sources. Come here for the latest editorial material on topics of interest to you. Each community has its own Magazine page within this section.

The Shopping section helps you find the products and services you need to help you on your journey of self exploration. Items include books, magazines, audio and video programs, CD-ROMs, software and more. We regularly review and feature offerings from a variety of the most trustworthy online merchants, and we highlight special promotions for your convenience. Each community has its own page in the Shopping section, showing products relevant to that community.

The Resources section categorizes a vast array of useful and interesting websites, services, and other tools related to self-improvement and spirituality. Items include links to other websites, personal and professional service providers, directories, associations, broadcast media, and more. Alumbo! regularly reviews and highlights resources we feel have special value. Use these pages — there's one for each community — to help you sift through the many services available to you, with member ratings and comments to help judge the relative merits of each resource.

The Discussion section is where our visitors meet and dialog with one another. You'll find a Discussion page for each community, where members can create their own topics, plus links to external discussion groups and live chats that may be of interest to that community.

In addition, you'll notice a tab named myAlumbo -- this displays a page customized for you, and allows you to access content you've submitted, view and update your account information, and — coming soon — the ability to create a personalized view of our content (i.e., you can choose to display only those communities, columns, authors, item types, and so forth that interest you). Stay tuned for an announcement of this new feature.
