A Spiritual and Cultural movement that began in Jamaica. Although many Rastafari view that Haile Selassie, is Jah or may view Him as divine, not all view that He is God Almighty and depending on Mansion or House affiliation, veneration of His Imperial Majesty may differ from house to house. Roots Reggae music is heavily influenced by Rastafari teachings. Topics in our community will include information on the Divine Conception of the Heart, sovereignty of the Nation of Rastafari, Reggae, Royalty, Emperor, Empress, Marcus Garvey, Rastafari Elders and Bob Marley. Also covered are pertainent Reggae lyrics and poetry. Other areas are Rastafari Teachings, Haile Selassie and Jah, as well as 'Istory' (=history) of reggae and Ras Tafari. We will also discuss Jamaica and Religions were appropriate. We will have many topics on Ethiopia and this will also include Amharic, the language spoken by His Majesty. Other discussions will include Dub, Dreadlocks, Ital Living and the Livity of the Rastafari people.

JahLisha Israel Reports On Shashamane
Part 1: We give thanks to Jahlisha for this report on our Fathers Land!
From "The Rastafari Expression", A regular column by Kaya I IsesaJah, Nov 19, 2006
This report was prepared by Ras Jalisha Israel, a pious Rastafari man who owns the Nazarite Library (see his website on Alumbo)long time Rastafari bredrin who has done countless works in the United Kingdom and Afrika for quite some time. He expressed his concerns regarding this report, fearing it would be viewed as too negative, but since INI are counting on Individuals within INI nation to report facts and viewpoints on the Shashamane land, I thought it was important to post. This is by no means a judgemant upon any one individual, house or mansion, in my opinion, but rather a reflection of the times and the work that INI as Rastafari people need to do, collectively. Blessed Love, Sister Kaya IsesaJah read: JahLisha Israel Reports On Shashamane
