Connection with God and Humanity
We are All Connected
A feature article by an Alumbo member, Jul 05, 2006         Not rated (click to add your own rating)

What is transpersonal psychology?
What is transpersonal psychology?
A feature article by anhtdvn, Apr 28, 2006         Not rated (click to add your own rating)

Transpersonal psychology is an integration of psychology and spirituality. It includes all realms of being human, including realms that go beyond words and perceptions. It includes the awareness that we are spiritual beings living in physical bodies. When salt and water are mixed the salt is not observable and no longer takes up space but can be tasted as part of the water. Such is the transpersonal experience, which expands beyond the boundaries and limitations of time and space. Transpersonal psychology recognizes the importance of our individual personalities, but it also includes mystical realms of experience which extend outside the limitations of intellectual understanding and material existence. Transpersonal psychology does not oppose or contradict other models of psychology.       read: What is transpersonal psychology?

A message for the Sikh Youth
written by Hareet Singh an 18 yrs old Sikh Youth
A feature article by Aman Singh, Apr 13, 2005         Average 5 stars (click to view comments or add your own rating)

This is a paper I just finished typing. It's in response to the parents who always blame the youth for becoming too "corrupt." Please post replies, as this is the first site I'll be sharing it with. I am in no way blaming solely the parents for the situation that Sikhs find themselves in today. I am just showing the contradictory message that is given to us. The article mainly deals with the issue of keeping kesh, and does not speak for the entire Sikh Youth's views.       read: A message for the Sikh Youth
