Frequently Asked Questions

Easy 4-step Process Easy 4-step Process

Becoming a Community Leader is easy. And doing the job is equally simple. You don't need to know anything about HTML or webpage design; you don't need to download any special software — everything is done via your Internet browser. To apply to become a Community Leader:

  1. Login to your account (an account will be created automatically for you if you don't already have one)
  2. Fill out the Community Leader application form, indicating your choice of up to five communities
  3. Ensure your Member Profile is up-to-date
  4. Submit a few shopping links (books, audiotapes, software, etc.), resources (websites, associations, services, etc.), and discussions (newsgroups, web-based forums, chatrooms, etc.) that you feel are representative of this community
An Alumbo! representative will review your application, submissions, and member profile and get back to you to discuss the next steps. If you are accepted as a community leader you will be provided with online support and mentorship to help you begin, and will be authorized to display the "Certified Alumbo! Community Leader" graphic on your website.

We look forward to hearing from you!

I want to become a Community Leader.
