Summary:
A sistren who has had much to deal with, but utilized her Faith and Love to help her through, to achieve the Miraculous, Sis DahviaI story is a blessing to read and know.

The Rastafari Expression Past Experiences Before I Trod in Rastafari, I was young and ill, I only have bad, vague memories of this time. I was raised by a succession of Rasta nannies and consciously started my trod at 9 years old when I was healed by a Rasta healer in JA of a fatal kidney disease.

Who Am I now? I am old.. haha. I'm 40 and have found my peace and center in RastafarI despite many years and denial and militancy and several times being ill again and several crowns and changes of attitude and dress I find myself very tolerant and flexible with people and their Ideations, outlooks and levels of spiritual growth. This wasn't always the case but InI have seen so many things and the one thing that I am certain of is that whatever it is it will change..and if Jah is involved usually its miraculous!

In my work as a nurse I find so many beautiful souls that are questioning who InI am, what is different about me, excetera.. especially since right now I have no crown, I see this as Jah leading them to understand a different way and being curious as to what my Source is and Who sent me. Blessings are always right in front of me and InI can always count on seeing a manifestation of Jah's goodness daily.

My faith, even a descriptive paragraph is difficult for me to say as I have at different times in my trod been all over the place with this!! I think the simplest answer is to say its all about one love.Knowing the power of Jah being sufficient to not only help improve InI, a dying heap of humanity, but also the system that is taking its last gasps here as we speak. Its about having the power of righteousness and Jah love available to help a suffering soul or even Iself in confusion, grief or just daily runnings. Its being able to see clearly the enemy and his works running amuck in our presence. Its about being unprovoked and knowing myself and my Jah are formidable enough to deal with anything, including changing the world, its system and being a part of the bright new world already. Changing the beliefs of ignorance, colonialism, patriarchy and mental slavery to a freedom that can only come by knowing your roots and the natural order of Jah. Knowing that Jah does what He wants, whenever He wants and we can only see some of it sometimes...

While we argue on the Names of Jah and isms and schisms and Racism and Intolerence in the community of this or that and (my favorite) you 'cant be a real Rasta unless you...(fill in the blank)..' Jah either laughs or weeps. InI stay out of it except to say if you saw it through Jah eyes...what would it be??

JAh has uplifted me in body, spirit and soul. My gratitude is made manifest in my reaching out to others in a positive way and giving back the gift I have received many years ago on a small Island cay in the sand. There was Jah and InI have livity and consciousness because of H.I.M and that moment of contact started my work here and my life anew.

My involvement in the 'Movemant'.. .works for the Collective so much.. until recently InI was unconnected to the greater Rasta world except in cyberspace and now it seems I being called to move I gates to California to do some good work in H.I.M. there. I am so blessed to be moving to that stage in my trod soon!!

Family works, InI am unconnected on that front as well..I be seeing this Kingman now, but you know Bob say "time will tell". My son has been separated from me due to this system and its intolerance of I as well the whole greater Babylon foolishness. InI know that in time my son will come from afar..that in the Psalms. Until then I have so many families that I get love from, It hard to keep up with them all..I so blessed in that! They are not Rasta families as such but definitely called by Jah to a good path.

What do I see for the future of Rastafari or what do I invision as being the Trod of our generations to come? The future is wonderful with the advent of the boards, emails and meeting and greeting, travel and such we are so much more connected and can share information in the blink of an eye!! Praise Jah!!

What we need to do is get out elders more involved in this as sometimes the likkle ones bless their hearts have a lil too much fyah and get us off on a tangent and discussing division and isms so much we are all upset. A clear message of unity and livication should run through all our communications as well as praise for Jah in all things.

We are at the corner of a world that in its corruption must fall we must gather the sheep as best we can and know how to connect and work together. We have been so fragmented and separated by Babylon that we now have a wonderful chance to Unify, Livicate and Ideate on the rest of the Trod til we are called. Time is shorter than we think!!

We need to stop dreaming and awake to the new dawn of civilization and use its privliges to our advantage! There are many many Dreads in positions of power, many like myself are "baldhead" (not really bald anymore!! My hair did grow back after the last round of chemo!!.. MY crown will arise.. praise Jah!) and aren't able to connect on the level of the musician, the rootical, or the consciousness wearing sisteren. As well the Dread of other cultures are a vast untapped resource!

While we banter on about collective consciousness we best not leave off on our other Brethren! They have much to offer as well and if we all one love and Irie vibes then why they discounted? Not to say this is done on purpose but at times they may feel like the lost sheep or the stepbrethren and this is a commentary on us not them..

Also, the black supremacy tip should not be discounted. If people from other cultures really understand and embrace Rasta then they know it is a call to unity and brotherhood as we all were originally Africans. There Black Supremacy is in its proper perspective and not perverted and not a message of division and hate as White Supremacy clearly is...Black brethren should not be attempting to water this down or discount any Rasta's commitment toward the Garvyite ideals. Electing to stand shoulder to shoulder in the cause is a choice not taken lightly by these brethren and as such they should be considered full brethren in all ways and share the love as wall as the trod.
