Summary:
Tania Guerrera artwork portrays eclectic images that pull from her Boricua/Puerto Rican ethnic culture. Her creations include the many AfroCaribbean and African influences in the Puerto Rican culture as well as her Taino Native Arawak roots Miss Guerrera is also a certified Yoga Teacher and many images of people in meditation are also the conrnerstone of a number of paintings.

The Rastafari Expression When I first found this Artiste, I fell in love with cultural works. She is to I a next Black Heart Sistren, and her work exhibits feelings I have long had. Sis Guerrera no doubt has had meditative feelings being from a natural multiracial 'Race'...as she mentions, she has natural Arawak roots, as most Puerto Ricans have as well as her African Root, again naturally.

I too, have meditated over I own Roots an how being from a kulcha where multiracial persons can come up confused, and spend their whole lives trying to see just where they fit in..Her "Somos Negros Hablamos Español y Qué?" (We are Black, We Speak Spanish, and What?)illustrates exactly how I feel, it is wonderfull to have this artwork to express I feelings.

All of Sis Guerrera works are available on Art.com and Cafepress. Be sure to chek dem.
