Summary:
This article I put together after reading some rasponses given over the years to Rastawomans complaints of Infidelity. It may be hard to follow at times, because I took pieces of reasonings, such as a sentance here and there, from differing RastaWombmans an some Mans reasonings on the general subject of Man Infidelity. On one board a Rastaman asked a simple question, and I only put it here in the summary for clarity of what some of di sistren dealin wid. "How many ah de bredren dem ya choose one woman,(monogamy) or want more than one woman(polygamy)? What is your reason why you choose monogamy or polygamy?

A Queens Lament Painting credit to sis Rani Carson Image hosted by Photobucket.com "...tired of a rasta man making youth with a rasta wo-man and then leaving said rasta wo-man alone whave a queen at home but, never take her anywhere but, all up on the hootchies at the club. Why!? Maybe because men feel ( and not just RAS) that they have a Jah given right to do what they want to do especially when it come to their privacy...with youth. I know bredren like what you talk about. My ex was one. Image hosted by Photobucket.com But I believe that we must continue in what we know is right, like attracts like... so if the bredren doesn't want to live up, then you don't really want him do you? Bredren looking like bobo dreads with tall turban and things march in the club with scantily clad Asian women with make up and tight clothes and styled hair, and how come the bredren them not embarrassed? How can they stand in the mirror and wrap that turban knowing they go to pick up these harlots So my Sistrens sight the wolves and vampires for who they are, do not disraspect InI and even slip and call them "Rasta" MORE HEAT. This thread is indeed the truth. But I want to comment on two posts. It definitely is more important for one to do Jah's will than to simply say it or to dress like it. Jah looks to the conception of the heart with a greater power that we do not possess. Jah sees beyond the physical. And on the other hand,We look at actions and words as keys to the conception of the heart. And what we are shown, which is very sad, is that these so-called Rasta men are in fact disappointments to us! I man hear it all the time and dont overstand the reason for their behavior but I also see how sum of the socalled Sistrin like the Bad Boys in the end, when they don't have any money, youth, or good looks, and their hearts are torn, we will be too busy doing the will of Jah to do anything more than be a sister or friend to them, forget the companionship. I rather celebate than 'make do' or allow disrespectful behaviour - if this means I stay alone, well so be it...sight both polygamous and monogamous relationships as being able to work. We must be wise to overs that not every one we are attracted too and love is meant to be come an intimate partner. More times they are sent to help us learn and reason. If a bredrin wants more than one sistrin he must come with truth and state that when dealing with them. If a man wants one sista he must also be truthful. With all due respect, I am not so convinced that this folly of blatant adultery is so much just a Rasta man thing, but moreso a general cultural thing. Time and time and time again I have seen bredren falling short, taking up with women outside their homes etc.. and sad as it is to say, 9/10 of them are of Caribbean descent. I can't even say it's just "black" men in general, because I don't get this vibe so much from men from Africa. I just see it time and again with Caribbean men (Latino men too, but I haven't met enough Latino Rastamen to make a group judgement), and it makes me wonder what is happening in their upbringing that they see adultery as acceptable or normal. I know without a doubt that JaH will indeed bring him forth. This thread hurt my feelings. I am not Ras, but also should not be judged as hootchie just because I am not a Rastawoman. What IandI was discussing is about how SOME RASTA mon are DISraspecting them Empress by going out with Ho's. No one is saying that because one is NOT RAS they are a "hoochie mama". Hoochie mamas are hoochie mamas... Not EVERY WOMBMON who is not RAS is a hoochie. NO NO NO! I do not feel that is what I sistren have been reasoning about. Why you lean on the women of babylon to make you feel like your a man, when is pure love i have to give you? Take this abuse, you're already stressed enough, with the kids, and the bills, and the house, and the washing, and the everything I leave you alone to do, my mistress needs some money for her hair and nails.Take this abuse or I'll leave you, you don't know what being a tempted Rastaman entails. Rastafari wants our righteousness for his Zion kingdom,HIM dont want Babylon dawtas, HIM wants Rastafari Kings and Empresses...You think I will crumble to nigger, bitch, slut and whore? Well lemme see you stop this bitch from walking out your door ...and always still seeing memories of him after years of being alone catching glances as he drives by with new pregnant queen at side or leaving The I dem know who they are . InI queens deserve to be honor and ispect. Remember the time will come when all the wicked must be defeated, and InI will chant Nyahbinghi till the very end, Nyahbnghi, death to the black and white downpressers, Fiyah. The Queen that is being disrespekted is mi. and no, bredrin.. behind no back would I EVER disrespekt I KING, but he who looks at me lustfully... disrespects I King, and Our KING and the Almighty Empress, Queen Omega. You need to go to church and check yourself. You do not need to spread your seed what you need to do is I-ducate yourself and know that beyond a man's instinct is his ability to rise above animal behavior. Breeding is for animals and slaves. Iwomyn noeth not this womyn an her dealings wid I Kingmon. I have heard plenty RASTAMAN who claim they desire more than one WOMAN, for this is so because it is of the Solomonic dynasty for a man to have more than one (wives). Well, now that I have research such ignorance, I had to address one man with the principles of HIS MAJESTY for beside him there is always one Queen EMPRESS MENNEN and him want the same things out of life and have the same irie visions about the Most High, music, procreation, etc. Get tired of the phone numbers though and the other female issues. Troubled Empress will be BLESSED with a Kingman soon who will love her 100% unconditional and treat her like the QUEEN she is. Image hosted by Photobucket.com Love is too strong a word to say it too early, but it has too beautiful a meaning to say it too late It takes 3 seconds to say " I LOVE YOU " It takes 3 hours to explain it It takes a lifetime to prove it."
