Summary:
This weeks Rastafari Interview really gave mi great joy to do. INI are taken to Missouri, which that in and of itself, proves Rastafari is spreading throughout the USA as well as to all of the Nations. That can only mean good for INI. I developed the questions for these next few weeks of the RASTAFARI EXPRESSION to acquaint INI to the Rastafari who live, work, study, and worship amonst the different communitys. It is here INI visit a sistren whose online name is NAZARITE pj and ask her all about her trod, her faith, her children, and her views on a variety of interesting topics. So without further comments, Sis Nazarite pj:

The Wisdom and Womanhood of Nazarite Pj

KI. Greetings Sistren. How long has the I trod Rastafari?

NZ. Greetings once more. To answer your question, it has been this way since the beginning of thoughts. Never was one to play with the latest toy, rather play outside climbing trees, running through creeks and woods.

Spent time being Babylonian for a while, after being banned from Pentecostal services for asking the wrong questions, such as why we study someone's version? Why is Moses pictured as being blond haired, blue eyed? etc.

When I questioned Jesus's appearance in contrast to the stones mentioned to describe him, the board of deacons (mi father being one) decided that I should not attend there anymore.

KI. Did Bob Marley help you to find your path?

NZ. When life path brought Marley my way, it was to remind me of where I should be, and who I was. Still, took the dying of mi father, and the birth of my latest son to intensify mi beliefs and to realize that to let Jah take control of mi life path and to follow H.I.M. where lead, is the only path that I should follow. This is the path that will take mi thru turbulence to the new earth at the end. Forward ever, backward never.

KI. Where is the I currently residing?

NZ. My family and I currently reside in Springfield, southwest corner of Missouri. We recently moved here from the STL area, to do time with my Kingman.

KI. What should INI as Rasta concentrate on changing within INI movement?

NZ. Mi personal feeling is that the Ras musician community should make more of an effort to bring the music to the youth. They are the future; we must look forward seven generations.

Being able to hear the music in person leaves so much of a deeper impression, than listening to CD or radio. Currently, reggae is in the clubs, the drinking establishments and other places it is frowned upon to take youth...a person could lose custody of youth, if someone wanted to make an issue about their presence in such places. Please to make reggae, roots reggae message, more consistently available to the youth. Not just the occasional family concert.

Youth, from the toddlers of three, four, and five, to the preteen, to the adults of 13 to 17. These are the ones who need the message, before they travel to the clubs.

KI. Does the I have children?

NZ. Yes I have children, My first born a daughter named Nikita, 14 who, does not live with us currently. My first born son, Joseph, soon to be called Josiah, 13..and our most recent addition Hezekaya, 3. I also have various youth who adopt me from time to time.

KI. Are they being raised Rastafari?

NZ. My daughter rebel, she is drifting among family back in STL are. Long story. My sons are being raised as Nazarites. No haircuts, no hard drink, no contact with dead. Josiah still brushes his locks, usually wears braids. Hezekaya has not had brush or comb to his locks since his cradle cap left. Soon we will begin home schooling, and will have a more concentrated approach of learning truth, more so than just music. I share knowledge gathered with mi oldest son, can only plant the seed and nourish it for growth.

KI. Do you view Selassie as Jah or What is your view on Selassie and Je-sus Christ?

NZ. Mi views on Selassie and Jesus Christ are controversial. The best way to state it simply is to say that Jesus Christ prayed. And Haile Selassie prayed also. Would God pray? I believe Selassie and Jesus Christ to be of a Holy nature, a different spiritual level that that of most of mankind, yet not the Creator Himself. They came to deliver. Yes deliver a message to those that will hear, to those who will overstand, and to fulfill prophecy.

I know that Selassie has left this earth, and has loosened the seven seals. I know that this is Armageddon times, and that soon the voices of the seven thunders will be revealed.

KI. Do you plan to repatriate?

NZ. Repatriate? Creation is mi fathers domain, as long as there is creation INI am at home. Does not matter which piece of creation I locate on, it is all his. Who knows the future? Could be that the plates of this earth decide to rearrange again, then where does one repatriate to? The earth is ours.

We were placed here as caretakers. Soon the grip of evil will be removed from the world, and the earth will flourish again...as it was in the beginning.

KI. Do you follow an Ital diet?

NZ. We have yet to convert to a totally Ital diet. No pork, No beef, and I am starting to shy away from the yellow looking chicken that is available in the stores. Replaced beef with buffalo. Lots of fish. Lots of wild rice. Lots of fresh vegetables, as is available in the stores. Looking forward to having a vege garden in the yard next year, to grow mi own. Always keep a supply of fruits on hand.

KI. Does the I see this movement as a Black Movement alone or Explain your views about how Rastafari is a Multicultural, Multiracial walk?

NZ. Rasta is an inborn conception. How do I see this movement? "Until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes..."

KI. What do you think about Rastafari becoming more organized?

NZ. Yes. The people who feel and overstand truth, need to communicate and work together on the teachings of the youth. And work together on sharing knowledge...and breaking down the walls of lies that have been placed to lead the youth astray. An effort should be made to learn how to work the earth to provide us with our needs, and not to rely on stores and commerce. To have the knowledge needed to survive when the Babylonian system fall, to be able to fend when the times comes soon.

KI. A little more about di I, occupation, views for the future, personal viewpoints...

NZ. Tis not much to say of self. I am who I am. My occupation is learning. Officially I am a homemaker. Full time mother, gardener, learner, guider, Knowledge seeker. I view the immediate future as being traumatic times. As is the escalation of new birth, so is the escalation of new earth. I grieve for those who will be lost to us. Yet I know that after the trauma will be the beauty of the new.

Between now and then, INI will sing praises daily, for I know the Creator has it all in plan. Once again, looking forward to knowledge remembered and shared. Looking forward to unification, not relocation, and looking forward to the after Babylonian Earth.

This concludes our Interview with our ILa and Wise Sistren, Nazarite. Her words and simple family life show the world about the Livication to that Upfull lifestyle so often found in Rastafari. Give thanks Sistren an May Jahovia Bless di I an I Family!!
