Ensure That The Apartment Is Clean Before Moving OutSimple Ways To Leave Your House Clean Before Moving Out
Moving out can be very stressful. Not only do you have to worry about the shifting of such heavy furniture items like platform beds and center tables, but also plan out the cleaning of the apartment you are leaving. In order to make life easier for yourself in these days, you should have a well thought out plan in place. This article will tell you about the most important points that any tenant should remember while moving out. If you want to get back your entire security deposit, you must have time scheduled to clean up all the grime and garbage that collected in your period of stay. First of all prepare a list of all areas that need immediate cleaning and fixing. You surely do not want hefty cleaning or damage fees charged to you or cut off from your fixed deposit. Start with the walls. This is one area most people use prominently for decorative purposes. Remove all the nails you had stuck on the walls and fill the holes with a dryer or toothpaste (if the hole is tiny). In case, the walls have marks or colors by your toddlers, use magic erasers and remove them all. Sometimes furniture items, like a recliner, make marks on the wall due to the continued use of wall support. You may even have to prime and paint some really tough stains. Come into the kitchen area next. Cover the sink with warm water mixed with detergents. Use an old toothbrush to remove all the oil and grub on the edges. Also switch off the refrigerator and start cleaning it with sponge and water. You can take out all the shelves and drawers and clean them in the dishwasher. Wipe off all the water before putting them back. Also, clean the entire area with dry cloth. The oven might take longer, especially if you have neglected its cleaning for long. Use an oven cleaner and then wipe away the chemical. Finally, rinse the surface with water.
Check all the lighting fixtures. Clean those that are dusty. Make sure all the bulbs are working. Also wipe down the exterior surfaces of all closets, appliances like dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and air conditioner. Once the cleaning of all the appliances and closets has been done, start cleaning the floor. Sweep and then mop it. If you are really conscientious, move all the heavy appliances and clean the hidden areas of the floor. Scrub away the dried grime that must have collected over your stay. In the bathroom, clean the sink, toilet, tub and shower head. Wipe down all fixtures and mirrors. Clean the medicine cabinet. Sweep and mop the floor of the bathroom. While vacuuming the carpeted floor, pay special attention to areas that stay hidden, like those under living room furniture pieces. Throw out all the garbage. At last, sit back and admire the fruits of your labor.
