Great effort is needed to end the uncontrollable craving for food. Considering that, develop your fighting skills to conquer compulsive actions.

This battle is for liberation; deny failure. You can feel intense emotions and choose not to surrender. Tell yourself, "I refuse to stop. I will not budge. I refuse to be defeated." During the emotional turbulence caused by temptation, inquire of yourself, “what do I really want?” Eating to reduce stress is not your goal. What you really desire is to be at peace. Eating out of anger is not what you want. You need to resolve the issue. You do not want to eat simply because you are afraid. What you really want is the courage to face it. Eating because of boredom is not what you want What you really want is, a goal that will create excitement within you.

Do not fight obsessive thoughts, but turn them into productive thoughts and actions. Take mini-breaks to manage your mood and cut the pattern of obsessive thinking. Find a little time to do something you enjoy until the emotions ebb. Sing a song, exercise, go for a short walk, or take a relaxing bath. Not only will you be fighting obsessive thoughts, but improving your life. Do not yield; every time you do, the comfort will create a desire to repeat it. Reaffirm to yourself that junk food is fake pleasure. If you do not nurture a craving, it will die. If you become restless, slowly take a deep breath, holding for one second, and exhale, think serene.

Imagine the feeling of distaste to the point of nausea: finger nails making a scratching sound, or hair floating in your soup, Imagine an image that works best for you. Use negative labeling. Chips are flavored pieces of cholesterol and fat. Build your own negative tags for the foods you are moving away from. Play the mental tape to the end; view the big picture. Don’t focus solely on the pleasure, but focus on all of the unwanted possibilities.

When you manage yourself, you feel that something was denied, and feel deprived. Overcome that feeling with the fact that you have what it takes to be happy. Challenge the feeling of loss.

Always remember the bad qualities of junk food. Stop eating them. Stay away from triggers like bakeries and donut stores. Avoid hanging around unnecessarily in the kitchen or at the dinner table when you feel the urge to eat. Your meals must be planned. Snack on fruits and vegetables.

The first few days can be the toughest. If you are out of it and feel weak, it will be challenging to control your thoughts. Discipline is work, and feeling toxic creates an irresponsible attitude. It will pass once the blood clears of toxins Do the best you can through out these times to be firm.
