Summary:
Insomnia depression is a person that has insomnia that has lead to depression as well.

What is depression insomnia? First, you need to know the meaning of insomnia which is the inability to get a good night sleep on a regular basic. Everyone may find it difficult to sleep sometimes but a person with insomnia never sleeps well. When a person with insomnia does sleep they do not follow the normal pattern of sleep that is required to help them stay healthy. Sometimes they may fall asleep and go straight to what is called "REM" sleep. This is the part of sleep where people dream and this stage is supposed to be reached slowly. Recent studies have shown that it appears that having insomnia can cause a person to also have depression. Therefore, depression insomnia is a person that has insomnia that has lead to depression as well. A person with insomnia can lie in bed all night and never fall asleep. Many times they can just watch the minutes go by, which can make it even harder to fall asleep because you know you have to wake up at a certain time. Others fall asleep fast but then wake up all during the night, so they never get a good consistent sleep going like their bodies need. When a person becomes depressed due to the inability to fall asleep they are suffering from depression insomnia symptoms and need to get help with this condition. Depression insomnia symptoms make it very difficult for a person to handle things that occur in their everyday life. Simple unimportant things tend to take on new meaning and become harder. It is much harder for these people to interact socially. Dealing with problems and other people can become overwhelming and almost impossible to bear. You feel tired and irritable and little things seem to take forever to accomplish. This is why it is important to realize that insomnia is a real problem that requires treatment. A person that has depression insomnia can still have a loving family, a career and accomplish most anything they set out to do as long as the get treatment for this condition. Doctors now have a much better understanding of the link between insomnia and depression making it easier to treat patients with this condition. Both conditions need to be treated at the same time. Once a person begins getting the proper amount of good sleep the depression may completely go away eventually.
